    You wouldn't be able to use dumbells due to the pad at the front. Also you would be able to come all the way up if you actually stepped to the side so your non working leg wouldn't be impeded by the pad at the back.

      @@ElitePhysiqueTrainingshe's literally consciously moving the barbell forward to not hit the bar....so dumbells are going to hit the pad.....you zoom in on it during a portion of the video. You obviously don't understand what I'm talking about you're unnecessarily blocking your ability to come to the top. Can't break it down any simpler.....when working left leg ....instead of shin being in the left space in sissy squat put it where your right leg is then your right leg would be free to move completely. Don't need to try something to apply basic common sense

      @@paulgoughfire Appreciate you taking the time to comment here and zoom in on the video. But having actually performed it with dumbbells, as well as successfully with actual clients, you can do it. The dumbbells do travel slightly further forward, though, and more like a stiff-legged deadlift. Feel free to try :)

  • @bendodd2405

    Can't get a full squeeze without bending the elbows otherwise it's just scapular elevation It's like doing a row, you can work your back without bending the elbows and just retracting the scapular but bending the elbows and rowing helps to get a full squeeze and engagement of the back muscles

    • @ElitePhysiqueTraining
      @ElitePhysiqueTraining Месяц назад

    Is it wrong that I'm feeling it more in my biceps than anywhere?

    • @ElitePhysiqueTraining
      @ElitePhysiqueTraining Месяц назад

      Completely normal. But a few things that could help: 1) Try reordering your exercises so you isolate your lats at the start of your workout with something like straight arm pulldowns or pullovers. Then pulldowns afterward. 2) Try to think about pulling with your elbow instead of your entire arm. “Elbow to pocket”.

    • @ElitePhysiqueTraining

      A hip thrust machine wouldn’t be an alternative. We would prioritize that and potentially use something like a cable pull through as an assistance exercise. If you’re not lifting the full stack of weight yet (many aren’t when done right!) then your friends argument is irrelevant. :)

    Awesome Video I recently visited your RUclips channel and enjoyed your content. However, I noticed that your videos are not ranking well due to some issues. I believe that if these issues are addressed, your videos will rank better. Here are the issues I found with your channel: 1. Video SEO has not been properly done. 2. Videos are not being released on time. 3. The video titles are not optimized. 4. Keyword research has not been done effectively. 5. Video thumbnails are not appealing enough to attract viewers. Solving these issues will help your RUclips channel perform better.

    Resonates a lot!! When I first got into the gym I had a 1:1 pt sessions and I couldn’t run let a lone lift a weight. He gave me initial workouts that would stay same couple weeks then I’d have different workouts almost every week because I felt I needed it to keep myself motivated. And I wonder why I didn’t change physique much!! Then I had my first online coach and whilst he was amazing as in got me eating I now see their posts and stories and my own videos from when trained and I cringe. However I believe each moment/each person is brought in to lives for reason. My coach now I feel like won the lottery. Not only physique but mental to. I’m glad you’ve said that about deadlifts and squats. I used to love deadlift but not done for 10 months. Straps didn’t do much and then my grip would be messed up remainder workout because of the rheumatoid arthritis. Same with bar bell squats, the knees the ankles don’t like it. Nor does my form. So I use the tru squat and hack squat . The difference they make on how I feel and having back supported is 🙌🏻
